TRAFFIC ALERT FOR OUR GUESTS JUNE 1 – JULY 31, 2026

We want to make you aware of an upcoming traffic situation that may impact your travel to Derby Dinner Playhouse this summer. Beginning June 1 through July 31, I-65 will be completely closed through Louisville due to major construction. This closure is expected to cause significant traffic delays throughout the region, even for those not directly crossing the bridge.

What this means for you:

Travel times may be longer than usual
Detours and increased congestion are expected on surrounding roads
You may need to adjust your usual route

Please plan ahead and allow plenty of extra time when traveling to performances during this period. Arriving early will help ensure you can relax and enjoy your dining and theatre experience without stress.

DIRECTIONS From Louisville, Kentucky

Take I-65 North across the Lincoln Bridge. Take the second exit (Exit 1) on the right after crossing the bridge. Follow signs to Stansifer Avenue and go to the Stansifer Avenue exit. At the stop light, turn left. After you pass under the overpass and thru one stop light, Marriott Drive will be the first street on the left. Turn left onto Marriott Drive and we are located next to the Radisson Louisville North Hotel.

If coming from Eastern Jefferson County and taking the Lewis & Clark Bridge
Take 265 West to I-65 South and take Exit 1 (this exit will be on the right) to Stansifer Avenue. Proceed to the stop light and turn right. You will immediately turn left onto Marriott Drive and we are located next to the Radisson Louisville North Hotel.

From Evansville, Indiana

Take I-64 East to I-265 (exit off to your left), I-265 will take you to I-65, go South toward Louisville on I-65. Take Exit 1 (this exit will be on the right) to Stansifer Avenue. Proceed to the stop light and turn right. You will immediately turn left onto Marriott Drive and we are located next to the Radisson Louisville North Hotel.

From Indianapolis, Indiana

Take I-65 South to Exit 1. Take Exit 1 (this exit will be on the right) to Stansifer Avenue. Proceed to stop light and turn right. You will immediately turn left onto Marriott Drive and we are located next to the Radisson Louisville North Hotel.
